CONOR HORGAN | Writer/Director
Conor trained as a photographer, moving into directing TV commercials in the 90s. He has directed over 70 commercials and won Best Director and Best Photographer at the 1993 Irish Advertising Awards. His first short film, The Last Time, starring Linda Bassett (East is East), received a nationwide cinema release in Ireland and was the recipient of seven awards, including the UIP Director Award and Best Irish Short at The Cork Film Festival. Since 2004 he has concentrated on drama and documentary work. This is Conor’s debut Feature.

KATIE HOLLY | Producer
Katie Holly is Managing Director of Blinder Films where she has produced documentaries, scripted comedy, webseries, short films as well as feature films which have screened at numerous international festivals including Edinburgh, Seattle, Slamdance, Rotterdam, London, Toronto and Palm Springs.

Her feature credits include One Hundred Mornings, which received a Special Jury Award at the 2010 Slamdance Film Festival, an IFTA for Best Cinematography and won the inaugural Workbook Project Discovery and Distribution Award – for an outstanding film that hasn’t to date had US distribution; Sensation, written and directed by Tom Hall, starring Domhnall Gleeson (True Grit, Never Let Me Go) which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival; and Come on Eileen which stars Jackie Howe, Keith Allen, Julia Davis and Noel Fielding. Her latest production Citadel, a psychological horror, is currently in post production.

Katie is a graduate of the producer training programme EAVE, Chairwoman of Filmbase and she was Ireland’s representative as Producer on the Move at Cannes 2010.

SUZIE LAVELLE | Director of Photography
Suzie studied cinematography in the NFTS, London. Since graduating, Suzie has been Director of Photography on countless music videos, commercials, animations, documentaries, and shorts. Her work has earned her many accolades including Best Short Drama at the 2005 New York Film Festival (Soap Dodgers), Best Documentary at the 2007 TV Now Awards (Fuil agus Duch), Audience Award at the 2007 Cork Film Festival and Best Drama at the 2008 Toronto Film Festival (An Creatur) and Special Jury Prize at the 2009 Seattle Film Festival (Lowland Fell) and the IFTA for Best Cinematography (One Hundred Mornings) in 2010. Suzie also has some of her artist-led projects on display in the Tate Britain.

CHRIS WHITE | Composer
Chris’s entry onto the UK film scene came in 2007 after graduating with commendation as the Olswang Scholar from the UK National Film and Television School with a Masters in Composition for Film and Television. Since graduation, he has composed music for many films such as Milkteeth by Tibor Banoczki, winner of best film at Annecy International Animated Film Festival and nominated for best film at the British Animation Awards; Ela by Silvana Aguirre, winner of best international film at Odense Film Festival and shortlisted for an Oscar in 2008; and The Solitary Life of Cranes by Eva Weber and winner of best documentary at Britdoc 2008. In 2007, Chris wrote the music for The Englishman, a feature by director Ian Sellar and the Irish Film Board.

FRANK REID | Editor
Frank graduated from the Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology in 2003 and has been working ever since as a freelance director, writer, producer and editor. He was the editor on award winning shorts ‘Joyride’ (Margeret Corkery) and The White Dress (Vanessa Gildea) Frank edited his first feature the highly acclained and award winning film ‘One Hundred Mornings’ directed by Conor Horgan. His other feature credits include ‘Between the canals’ (Mark O Connor, Avalan Films), Come on Eilleen (Finola Geraghty, Blinder films), The Pier (Gerard Hurley, starring Lily Taylor) and the irish Film Board/Northern Ireland Film commission funded film Five Day Shelter. Most recently he worked as on set editor on Kirtsen Sheridan’s Dollhouse.He founded Stitch Films in 2006 with Shirley Weir. He wrote and directed the Irish film board funded short ‘Pump Action’ which screened at the Corona Cork Film Festival, Galway film Fleadh and Kerry Film Festival as well as screening in competition at over thirty international film festivals including Interfilm Berlin, VIS Festival Vienna and at the Emden Film Festival Germany where it was the only Irish short to screen in competition. Frank recently directed the Filmbase/RTE funded short film ‘Before we wake’ starring Ger Ryan and Brian Fortune.

LUCY VAN LONKHUYZEN | Production Designer
Lucy is a graduate of the National College of Art and Design graduating with a B. Des (Metal). Lucy has worked on several high-profile projects such as King Arthur, Breakfast on Pluto, Moonstone Workshops, and The Escapist. Some of her career highlights included working as the Assistant Set Decorator on the first Emmy- Nominated series of The Tudors, which in turn lead to the opportunity of working in Malta on Alejandro Amenabar‘s Agora.
